BilletHead Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Green chili salsa Verde burgers! Can be put on buns or just plated. I grilled the burgers on charcoal and oak. Supersized so it would be like a hamburger steak. The roasted salsa Verde was reduced to a very thick consistency. Lots of caramelized onions made to put on the burger under the salsa. Grilled Bok choy salad with buttermilk blue cheese dressing. Reducing the Verde and caramelizing the onions, Mrs. BilletHead working over the Bok Choy, Plated up for the feast. ness Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 So, when you find something you like it’s OK to do it twice, right? Had company over and we did molasses brined pork chops again. Don’t really taste sweet or like molasses, but they’re sure juicy. On the Weber with charcoal and apple wood chips. A light dusting of Johnny’s rub and a little BBQ sauce right at the end. Bush’s original baked beans drained then molasses, yellow mustard and rub added. Done on the grill to get smoky and crusty. Peaches and cream corn that was past its prime dang it! I sure miss the fresh corn we used to get from a farm stand until they retired three years ago. tho1mas, rps, BilletHead and 2 others 5 John
rps Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 The grocery semi spoiled a Greek fest at our house. Someone had come in and purchased all the pita bread. We made do with hamburger buns for our lamb burgers. I put together a tzatziki and a very Greek salad to go with the lamb. Johnsfolly and ness 2
