Eureka Springs sits at the end of the food delivery chain. We rarely see prime produce until the farmers market opens in the Spring. Even that does not help with avocados. Dang, now I am hungry for guacamole. Buy the hard green ones and remain patient for a week or so and they are honestly good. There are always three or four hanging in the basket at the kitchen window. Just looked. Only two right now.
Terrierman Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Lovey is making Sloppy Joe and macaroni and cheese tonight. Nothing will be from scratch and there will be best choice buns involved, I just know it. Daryk Campbell Sr and Flysmallie 2
Johnsfolly Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Homemade granola! It's what's for breakfast . It's a good start, but still has some work to be as good as @BilletHead version. BilletHead, Daryk Campbell Sr and Flysmallie 3

I think I missed twice in the last 30 days. The pecan-orange granola is actually listed as one of the sneak peek recipes down at the bottom. I'll be giving that a try. https://mdc.mo.gov/newsroom/mdc-offers-new-cooking-wild-missouri-cookbook Johnsfolly 1

ness Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 Good thing about granola is once you’ve got the idea down it’s easy to swap stuff in and out. I like dried cranberries in mine That recipe sounds pretty good with the orange juice and zest. John
