MOPanfisher Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Superbowl food tonight. Our turn to cook with friends so I suggested a fish fry, fried crappie/catfish/white bass. Got some of the bags of fillets out of the freezer, with spring a coming that is worth something. Obligatory fried taters (my wife's speciality) and a crockpot corn casserole. Not much color variation in it but nobody ever complains when I fry fish. I don't care who wins the game, but one of my good friends absolutely hates Tom Brady so my job is to the the vocal one everytime the Patriots do something good, just to tick her off, and I am good at it. rps 1

Been getting this off Amazon. It’s from Wisconsin. Love this stuff for breakfast but also as a glaze on carrots, etc. Not cheap, but well worth it IMO. It’s a treat, like the waffles were. I don't know one from the other but hers sure are good. We eat them quite often. Make extras and freeze for an easy grab it meal. Makes a nice evening meal too. BilletHead I just grabbed a highly-rated recipe off of Allrecipes. We thought they were a bit dry. I thought the batter was a tad thick but I stuck to it, not really having a point of reference. Would love to eat this more often but my system doesn’t allow it. John

No sour grapes, but I’m flat tired of known cheaters Belichick (football AND marriage) and Brady. Not to mention the cocky 30-something Boston ECDBs I deal with at work who just expect this. Then there’s that money-grubbing Kroenke who mostly just married right and doesn’t comprehend the value of loyalty or a fan base. Screw them all. Marie Callender pot pie tonight and I’ll see what’s on the DVR. BilletHead 1 John

Salad dressings, marinades, bbq sauce. Basically anything you might use brown sugar. Think on this: good bourban, bacon and maple syrup. ness 1

Yeah I don't hear anything in that statement that leads me to believe "No sour grapes" ness 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Boston ECDB's more tolerable than New York ECDB's. ness 1
