Chief Grey Bear Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Jagerschnitzel , Man food! The Sunday feast. Made with Canada goose cutlets. Chanterelles in the gravy. The cooking, DSC_0002.JPG The finished plate and no I did not finish all that main course. Never let your wife fill your plate. As you fill up she will look over and ask what's wrong with your meal? Then I read and I decided I wanted that instead!! BilletHead Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 HA Chief! I have been known to gift Goose so if you or anyone else wants to try this please let me know On another note I had a BLT for lunch. Juicy tomato and bread slathered with miracle whip made a very , very soggy fall apart sandwich. Well this is what I wanted again for tonight so when I talked to the Mrs. before she came home from work to get some kind of bread this would not happen to. She replied hey we have flour tortillas wanna try them? Sure, well a great substitute it was. Tuck the ends and no spill. Yes I know a roll up but this was the first time we have done a BLT. Got to use these tomato's up. Peppers too so I will be doing again stuffed cubanells tomorrow in the smoker for when the Mrs. gets home. Here we go as mentioned in another post. Things will be going well in the house tomorrow night Billethead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" rps Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Tonight will be a pork stir fry with many mushrooms, broccoli, onion and carrots in a ginger garlic sauce. Boring, I know, but tasty.

rps Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Been away guys. I let you down. Is this thread dead or merely resting?
Chief Grey Bear Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Been away guys. I let you down. Is this thread dead or merely resting? Just resting I think. I've been working my job plus haying the last couple of weeks and still not done. I have been eating some kick butt Bologna and cheese sandwhiches with garden maters! Man those are the best! Been too hot to do much in the kitchen.
