fishingaddiction Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Believe it or not Hack was seen fishing the Ned on some docks across from Mill Creek in the KC area during the Table Rock derby last year. He was putting some solid keepers in the boat. He is one of my picks also. Very good jig fisherman and equally good with a variety of baits. Ashley, Davis, Pace and McClelland are also favorites to take the title. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
merc1997 Bo Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 He is for sure the "hot" angler the last year and one heck of a threat with a jig. You don't get a bait/jig named after you from a major lure manufacturer unless you are very good with it (SK Hack Attack Jig).that would be great if it was a jig bite because skeet reese is loaded with NuTech Elites. bo
abkeenan Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 that would be great if it was a jig bite because skeet reese is loaded with NuTech Elites. bo Awesome Bo. Hope Skeet does well then and your product gets some air time on TV. That would be really neat to see and I'm sure an influx of sales for you. Keep us posted.

Might be some pressure on the Zman crowd to fish it a little more too. Despite Hackney being a big rod and big line guy, he does not seem to back away from the little stuff if that is what it takes. Putting pride aside is a good way to make sure you get paid. that would be great if it was a jig bite because skeet reese is loaded with NuTech Elites. bo Hope it happens for you. That would be a neat deal.
bluebasser86 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Casey Ashley has the local knowledge, he's good with a jig and jerkbait, he's a very methodical fisherman so the cold shouldn't bother his fishing style. I think he's going to be really tough to beat.
Bass Enforcer Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I don't know the lake at all to make a decision who it best sets up for. BUT.....If it's a deep bite martens will do well,if it's a stick bite McClelland has it,jig bite, you know Hackney is the man with the jig. They are all a great group of guys I'll enjoy watching it anyway. I always watch it after everybody else. Not by choice but I can't ever find it on the tube. Does anyone know when it will be aired. Or how can I keep up with it real time if that is possible. (Without going there obviously) maybe this was already said but too many reads to try and catch up on. I'm just getting off work so I need to get some shut eye. Thanks guys.

Quillback Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I'll record it. I record just about every sporting event I want to watch, so nice to be able to skip the commercials.
