PI Day OA Get Together

Recommended Posts

My math teacher wife pointed out tomorrow is the once a century Pi day. 3.14.15.

I have five packages of wings (about 60 pieces) marinating tonight. I plan to pack them, the charcoal, etc. in the boat and motor down to Eagle Rock in the morning. I expect fog and I have to go pickup some gas first, so I probably will not be in the crack of dawn crowd. I plan to arrive, unload, fish for a bit, and then come back to cook wings.

The new Ned casting rod will be with me for others to try. I am NOT trying to sell anything. I only make rods because I have never found a reasonably priced professional maker that does what I ask. Hoglaw did a great job for me when I was banged up, but he is a hobbyist that I hate to ask twice.

I am looking forward to this!

I'll be around there somewhere and can help you unload if needed. I would run slow coming down as there is a lot of debris in the water; was up that way Tuesday and got hung up in a tree limb floating just under the surface.

Man I hate I'm missing this. Rps cooking wings. That's not something to miss.

Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message.

He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

What?!?

It's a math thing, like Pi r squared, is the area of a circle, 3.1415... Never understood that really, all the pies I ever had were round, cobblers were square?????? Spent a lot of time in the Principles Office. Happy Pi day...

Griz, now that's funny, I don't care who you are. Lol
