Bass Cat Boats sold out today to Correct Craft, makers of Ski Nautique boats. Guess that means no more "all in the family" claims.

I didn't see that one coming. I hope Correct Craft along with the Pierce Family, if they will still continue to be a part of the business will carry on the tradition of quality that Bass Cat stands for.

How will this affect the boat owners? Does it matter?

Industry consolidation along with making sure that the brand lives on - fairly common in the industries that we work in - some family business's don't have a succession plan in place and that is where the challenge comes.

I don't know much about Yar -Craft so we can only hope everything will stay the same
