Mitch F and I are both huge fans of Love StoryThe Notebook is big for us too.  He's not all that much about DieHard or Beverly Hills Cop, but I kind of like them.

I took a date to that Love Story. She cried so hard I had to take her home.

I was 13 when Love Story came out, it was way too sappy for me at 13. That being said, it was a very popular movie at the time.

I’m not watching anything with love and story in the title. I can’t stand that stuff. Remember taking my wife to see The Bridges of Madison County. I almost chewed my arm off and ran away. Worst movie I’ve ever sat through.

Made it a point not to read everyone else posts so I don't prejudice my failing memory

  1. Not fair, I know...This blows out the requirement of 5 total...but I hope you will amuse me here......The Entire Star Wars Saga especially the 1st and second installment ANH and ESB... I have a Bias there! It was amazing to see in the theaters when it was released.
  2. The Hobbit and the LORT movies (yes I am counting these as one! ....same as the entire Star Wars Movies including the Clone war series and rebels and the new mandelorian series on Disney)
  3. Dune - while cheesy and not in line with the books,...... still a cool adaptation.
  4. And sorry again (I cant follow instructions...Just ask my wife) but I'm a Clint Eastwood fan,..... so the whole spaghetti western he was in: A fist full of dollars, A few dollars more, Hang em high all rate up there
  5. And last but not least a new arrival.... Ready Player One.. touches on all the things I enjoyed growing up.. the music, the games, all the 80's references of which I identify with 100%

Scrolled through here since it got bumped up today.

Should have had Hud on my original list.

One a watched recently for the second time that is really good: Hell or High Water.
