I'm sure this is in a lot of top 5 lists, but the  "The Deer Hunter" just started on FLIX and i'm watching again.  Good movie

Not to be contrary, but that movie is too much of a downer for me. Kinda stuck in my head in a bad way when I saw it years ago. I don't need Hallmark, but I don't want to feel like crap after a movie

I thought “Burn after reading” was good, not great, but good.

Yea, a lot of those movies in the late 60's and 70's did not have the feel good theme.  I like that they had to rely upon good acting, directing and cinematography, less on the special effects and flashy editing.

It's too bad if nobody knows this one. Really good flick -- Red Rock West. Nick Cage, Dennis Hopper, JT Walsh, Lara Flynn Boyle. Down on his luck good guy makes the right choices when faced with tough decisions.

Hard to find this one -- I rented the DVD from Netflix to see it again.

Brad Pitt was Hilarious in Burn after reading, love the Cohen Brothers.     How about Mr Pitt, him not me,  in Guy Ritchie's movie "Snatch", as a "Piker"?
