Bill Babler Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 Mixer, Great point. I have fished Falcon for many years, and being in the guide business accidents tend to happen. I have never had one complaint from them when returning a broken piece of equipment, and nothing but a positive, extremely fast and cheerful response. High Modular Graphite Rods do not do well with door lockers or big boot footed 300 pound guys. They do however fish with extreme sensitivity and put them in the boat. Thanks for chiming in. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
mjk86 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Better throw all my rods away and get all falcon stuff!
mjk86 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I dont think its the rods....lol ur a fishing guide and know that lake better than anyone. Youd catch more fish on an ugly stick than most would on a loomis. Im sure falcon appreciates it though!
Quillback Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Everywhere we fished between SK bridge and Campbell Point, today, we picked up green slime when we drug a bait. Are you guys seeing that? Saw just a little in the point 23 area, but not enough to be a problem. I hate that stuff.
denjac Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Fished with champ last Friday and he set the hook on a 15 inch smallie and heard his falkon Cara head turner go pop. It broke in the handle between the corks. Didn't break in two but definitely was some damage. First fishing failure I have ever seen from a falkon. I think I might have heard him say, Boom goes the dynamite, when he set the hook! Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. For a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle." ~ Winston Churchill ~
Bill Babler Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 Guys, that moss is just a normal breakup. It usually starts when the water hits about 60 degree. If we get a good rain, it will all be gone, in the next few days, don't let it bother you. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Guest Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 is there any difference in the Cara & bucoo aside from the foam handle?
