Guest Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Gamma is hard to find, but its awesome line. The Sunline Super Natural is total garbage Red label seaguar is my go to 20lb test for heavy cover. It works in gin clear water too.
Iclass Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Tackle warehouse has every # test in stock of Gamma edge...
mixermarkb Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Sorry guys, posted with a migraine. Sunline Sniper, not Shooter. I like Shooter for casting reels, but it's hard and stiff. Sniper is where it's at for spinning tackle. Casts well, holds up to rocks very well, and doesn't have the stretch that I have with invisix. It's expensive, but worth it.
Guest Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I was talking about gamma copolymer I'm pretty sure it's been discontinued
Iclass Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 They got that too, 8-12# back ordered til April 27 Ham 1
Ham Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Hey Dave, I'm pretty sure I stumbled onto the video of you guys fishing this year. It was amazing catching, but I wish WD had stopped fishing for a little while and filmed you setting the rig up, making the cast, working the Ned, setting the hook, and winding your fish to the boat. It certainly looked like the two of you were having a good time AND catching a PILE of fish. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Sac River Jim Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 i use the 6# berkley 100% flouro formulated especially for spinning reels. i haven't had a problem with it yet. Trophy if you can't find the Gamma Copolymer you might try Mc Coy. I use the mean green on my daytime rods and the clear blue florescent on my night rods. I can only speak for the Copolymers but Dill swears by their braid and their floro. we are fixing to put a big order in and will be interested to try them.
Sore Thumbs Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Inviz x is great except in really cold conditions. It becomes very brittle.
Ham Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I fished Nanofil down to 16 degrees. It did fine. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Members CHuddleston Posted May 1, 2015 Members Posted May 1, 2015 I was talking about gamma copolymer I'm pretty sure it's been discontinued Fin and Feather on Campbell in Springfield keeps lots of Gamma in stock- it is his best selling line. I have recently switched and understand why! Really like the 12lb (breaks at 20lb) on my baitcaster. Price is very reasonable too. WS Commander 120 Angler
