ness Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 "Ned Rig After Dark" -- sounds like a Saturday night Cinemax series. Champ188, Ron Burgundy and Sac River Jim 3 John
bluebasser86 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I've done very well with a Ned rig after dark, including one of the biggest walleye I've ever caught. Lakedog 1
Mofloatjunkie Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Get the photo bucket app. Load your pic to the app then copy the img in your post. Works for me.
motoman Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 ........Do they even make a black Zero or ZinkerZ? Might be worth a try? - Yup, black and blue laminate with blue flake. The blue is a nice dark blue too. I bought some for night fishing, but haven't much gotten a chance to use them.:-(
dtrs5kprs Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Junebug, CA Craw, and green pumpkin would all work too.
Members KC Trout Fan Posted May 31, 2015 Members Posted May 31, 2015 A little new to the Ned discussion.... Is there a ideal size for the jig head? Has anyone fished it around grass? Psalm 16:8 I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
Members KC Trout Fan Posted May 31, 2015 Members Posted May 31, 2015 Sorry. Have been busy working jigs. What kind of jigs? Psalm 16:8 I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
motoman Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 - The perfect Ned rig jigheads I would guess?......... Cause Dave has it down to a science. His jigheads rock! - 1/16 ounce if the wind will let yah; but I've been kinda diggin the 1/8 ounce past few times down though.
Hammer time Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Imo nothing compares to a jig at night. Crawdads are mostly dormant all day and get out and feed at night. Bass are looking for craws after dark for a easy meal. Throw a jig and you'll see huge results!
