GloryDaze Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 That is pretty cool, no doubt Follow me on Twitter @DazeGlory
moguy1973 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I agree with that Phil. My wife saw this and asked if that would be something I would want for my birthday and then we saw it wouldn't ship until Feb of 2016. Basically $500 for down payment for their production. No thanks. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

All the other drones have to be controlled by the user. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 16, 2015 Author Root Admin Posted May 16, 2015 This technology has been around for a few years: https://www.google.com/search?q=hover+camera&biw=1536&bih=770&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=gVVXVfO-IcLKsAXTvoC4Bg&sqi=2&ved=0CFwQsAQ You're right- but they are getting more user friendly, advanced which is nice for people like me who don't do remote control things or play video games. I would own a drone camera setup but for that reason. I would buy this or something like it.
oneshot Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Government don't like them and are trying to take control but yes very COOL! oneshot Phil Lilley 1
MOPanfisher Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 My wife would use it to spy on me! Besides I don't do anything interesting enough to video. I will keep.my money.
LittleRedFisherman Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 I do a lot of self filming, so something like this would be something i'd really look at getting. I'm with you Phil on the prepay thing, and then waiting till Feb. There's another one coming out called an Air Dog that does the same thing and has switchable batteries, it's made to attach a Gopro on it, which many already have. Bigggest thing I like about this Lily over that Air Dog is it's waterproof, and you just throw it out there or land it in your hand, that is really cool. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
fishinwrench Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 It's the downloading and editing that scare me away. I know about 40 guys that own GoPro's but only a couple ever get the footage into an interesting format. I definitely don't have the computer skills/patience for that. ness 1
