Champ188 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Shared the day with fellow forum member ranger185 on Monday and had a great outing in every respect. Launched at Mill Creek at 6 a.m. and fished down to the island in front of Old 86,. We ended up with 30 in 7 hours. Best 5 around 13-14 pounds. Fish were anywhere from 2 feet to 25 feet deep. Redfin, spinnerbait, jig and the varmint all played a role. The photo below illustrates how to ensure long-term enjoyment of a keeper spot as opposed to the temporary gratification of a fish taco. fishingaddiction, magicwormman, denjac and 3 others 6
dtrs5kprs Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Hope that clear water didn't scare you too much. Good to get a nice trip in before the holiday chaos cuts loose.
SplitG2 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Thanks for the report and giving them back. Champ188 1

m&m Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Thanks, nice report. I like to hear that the area you noted is producing. I am most comfortable fishing that area. Sounds like a great way to spend a few hours in the morning. Mike Champ188 1
