Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 7, 2015 Root Admin Posted July 7, 2015 Table Rock's level jumped .26 inches between 9 and 10 am this morning. We've got lots of local flooding here in Branson. Water is over all low lying roads. Fall Creek is gushing over 165.
Terrierman Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Yes indeed, big time rain and it looks to be far from over.
Quillback Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Rained hard here in Bella Vista this morning, and from the forecast (assuming they get it right), it's just round one. Muddy Water 1
skeeter Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Media is reporting an evacuation of Roaring River Park and a four foot "wave" of water moving thru it. Kinda' doubt that came in the form of an actual "wave" but the water level did rise. Shell Knob reporting 5" this morning and we have 2.20" at Baxter....so far at 11:47 with more coming indicated on Radar.
Muddy Water Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 The Weather Channel has been showing flooding at Roaring River and Cassville.

Quillback Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 The Weather Channel has been showing flooding at Roaring River and Cassville. Man, it is up for sure. Here's the link, they show about a 10 second shot. http://www.weather.com/storms/severe/news/flash-flooding-july-south-midwest Muddy Water 1
Devan S. Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Roaring River and Cassville are bad lots of damage and the water is higher than I have ever seen. If you look at the usgs graph you can tell it may not have been a literal wall but that little river went up 7-8 feet in absolutely no time at all. Flat creek through Cassville did the same thing. I drove across at 7am and it looked higher than normal but nothing bad by 10 main street was covered in water from it topping the banks.
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I was camping at Roaring River State Park in September of 08, when hurricane Ike came through. The lower campground was evacuated, they told us to leave. Being from St Louis, and my 30th birthday, I didn't want to go home. Had no idea how much rain was coming, went to the higher campground. I should have went home. The lower campground lantern holders were under water, could not see the tops. Bad deal. Be safe, listen to those who tell you to leave. Don't drive through water, it can be deadly. We had a couple people die south of St Louis last week due to water quickly rising.
