evilcatfish Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 For $5 more I'd skip the Spro rat for a Mini Slammer or Bettencourt. I'd rather spend the money on a bait hand made in America than one thats machine injected then assembled by 7 year old kids in the Orient. Plus Siementel is kind of a turd Champ188 1
Codywskeeter1521 Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 I wouldn't turn my back on that thing for one minute around here ... someone will take a Bubba Blade and saw the sides off it! Lmfao I'm sorry. Nothing to see here

Moswimb8slinger Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Made in the USA, i understand. But Bill is a buddy of mine and I'll have to defend him on that stand point. You want to know whose a real steaming turd, the Morgans(morgan swimbaits). They're the worst facebook/cyber bullies I've ever seen. They'll jump down a swimbait newbies throat like they had set their dog on fire.

If that makes sense. lol. Just uber realistic. Since you're a Cali transplant and swimbait chucker thought you may have had some knowledge of them. They are out of Atlanta and made by a guide down there. $100 per bait which of course is crazy money but nothing compared to the Roman Made, Deps and others. Wait list to get one is a few months from what I gather. I really like the super slow sink 9" Gizzard Shad. I think it would be killer on TR and ultra clear lakes. Think huge jerkbait in the way it suspends. Check them out: http://fishatl.com/swimbait.html
Moswimb8slinger Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 He does have a hard time keeping up with orders. As he molds and tunes every single bait. I haven't put my name on the list for one nor have I seen one in action, but they do look great.
abkeenan Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Richie, You ever try throwing swimbaits in winter on Table Rock? Water temps in the 40's or so?
Moswimb8slinger Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Of course, when everybody else is throwing jerkbaits, I'm throwing the bbz1 jr or the s-waver, but reeling them painfully slow. Especially when the water has 20ft plus visability. Ledges and big boulders is where i usually find them.
Moswimb8slinger Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 This 5.5lbs largemouth was caught December 18 just after dark in about 10fow. magicwormman 1
