Old plug Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I remember every pieces of equipment and the boat and motor. That was the days when fishing was peaceful. They will never return I am afraid.
brother dave Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 That's nice. I see now what I've been doing wrong. BilletHead 1 I shop at the outdoor grocery store
Kelroy Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 The time-honored tradition of lubricating metal rod ferrules with 5W-20 Nostroil. Thank you Billethead for the troll down memory lane.
Nighthawk Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I love old films like that. I remember back before spinning reels became popular.
Blll Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 So cool! Jason Lucas instructions taught me how to bait-cast. Handles up, loosen spool to just wiggle side to side, thumb on spool edge not the line. Some how makes smoking that pipe look neat. Sure can't begrudge a few kept fish caught without electronics, braided line of plastics. Really great finding that video. Thanks for sharing.
LarrySTL Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Wow, 61 years ago !! Thanks BilletHead http://intervenehere.com
