That's interesting that a 43 foot boat goes missing and water patrol only hears about it when there are reports of boat debris on the surface. Seems like someone would report something like that missing?........strange.

Yea that sunken boat thing is weird. I saw that last week or over the weekend. Sounds like insurance fraud or something. Definitely strange no matter what. Hard to say without the details.

Slammed into a bluff at night with throttle wide open.  No injuries reported or missing boat.  Thinking someone couldn't make payments.

Hmmmm? I could use a new bass boat!

Sounds like a good way to get one, except for that "jumping out of the boat right before impact" part?

If the insurance co. is doing an investigation then they know who owns it and a claim has already been made.  A total loss claim kinda requires an official report..... unless..... you are an insurance man, sold yourself the policy, and then fudged the claim.

It sounds to me like somebody is gonna be making payments still on their boat, plus the cost of the recovery.  Or someone is gonna be in big trouble if they already made a claim on it.  At least this boat isn't putting out any more wakes.
