drew03cmc Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Yeah I wouldn't go stud, but just a guy who thought I hooked a rock, until it moved. Those were my three biggest smallies ever, so it was a feat I hope to duplicate a few times, but if not, I have the memories. Flyfishing is a blast, but I can't seem to stay focused on it when fishing spin tackle is so effective for bass. Andy

Mitch f Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Yeah, some jackass outlaw left it in the shade on a gravel bar and I had to drink it and take the bottle home . I'm glad it wasn't a Bud light. come on man, I love Budweiser! Yeah I wouldn't go stud, but just a guy who thought I hooked a rock, until it moved. Members ALLSTAR1 Posted August 30, 2015 Members Posted August 30, 2015 Do you catch any green sunfish on the L. Niangua now. We used to float it 20 years ago and got quite a few we kept for the fryer.

Yeah, Green sunniess are the only thing fit to eat in that river. There aren't any goggle eye and the green bass are all ate up with worms.
