Quillback Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Called Rileys today and booked us in the Cedar Gables place, which is the one we had for Jigfest #1, and I believe you are stayed there last year for Jigfest #2. They quoted me pricing, $220 for the first night, and $235/night for Friday and Saturday nights. I believe we have 5 staying Thursday night so that works out to about $44/person, Firday night with 7 it is about $35 per person, and again with 5 Saturday night works out to $44 each. I forgot to ask them, but I don't think they take credit cards.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Cash only last year. Thanks for doing that. Pete
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 12, 2015 Root Admin Posted November 12, 2015 They'll take a check too. Me and DD will be there Thursday and Friday nights only. Will fish Saturday am and take off about noonish. Thanks!
Quillback Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Looks like we may have 9 Friday night, might end up with a couple of guys sleeping on the couch or floor. I'm going to bring my dog, so I'll be in the den area on the futon near the dog, who will be in his kennel.
N9BOW Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 If you have room on the floor I'd like to meet up with you guys. I will be leaving Michigan early tuesday morning after some steelhead fishing and arriving down there later in the evening on tuesday. Wed I meet with the excavator Angus Kreiner to get my driveway put in on the new place and spend the day clearing the lot. I will likely fish thursday from the norfork to Reds Landing just to get to know my new stomping grounds. If anyone wants to join me I have room. I will head towards Reiley's some time in the afternoon. I'll have my hammock and tarp so if there is no room inside I know a pair of trees I can use that I used last time I stayed at Reiley's Station. Let me know if I can pick up something for the dinners. It'll have to be something from Harps if thats ok. Ham 1
Quillback Posted November 27, 2015 Author Posted November 27, 2015 Ought to be room somewhere. I would like to talk to you about the Michigan steelie fishing.

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 27, 2015 Root Admin Posted November 27, 2015 I have a change in my plans. Duane isn't coming so I think I've roped Bill Babler into coming. We'll come Thursday morning early and fish all day. I think we'll probably fish the Norfork Tailwater. Spend the night and fish most of the day Friday but have to head back Friday night. Bill has a guide trip Saturday. I'll still bring chicken for the group - 3 fryers should be enough. If this causes a problem with too few in the lodge Fri-Sat, I'll kick in 2 shares. Having a lodge myself, I'm not about to leave the group short funds. I don't like last minute cancelations... Ham 1
Quillback Posted November 27, 2015 Author Posted November 27, 2015 Phil, I think we'll have 7-8 on Friday night without you and Duane/Bill, so I'm sure those of us that are staying that night will be happy to split it amongst ourselves - no need for you to kick anything in. We need somebody who is leaving Sunday morning to be the person that collects the funds and pays the Riley folks. I would volunteer, but I plan on leaving Saturday after fishing.
