Updated water temperature information for Table Rock Lake. You guys know the drill: see the map for details if you wish ;) There are also some minor notes on observed stain/water color/debris on the details for each point on the map. I've removed many old readings from the map in favor of sticking with the main marinas and most recent readings. Just cleaning up the clutter. I did miss Holiday Island this trip due to some concern for the weather that didn't end up causing much issue.

This cold weather and the major rain event have helped to cool things off, at least somewhat. Warmest water lake-wide was at State Park Marina of 51.4 degrees. Coldest water found was at Cape Fair Marina of 46.8 degrees.

Looking at the 10-day forecast, it's tough to determine what the water temperatures will do. Cold nights, but mid-50's and sunshine in the days come mid week. Many days are calling for 10mph winds at minimum. The Corps will continue discharging 20,000 CFS from Table Rock Dam, which will continue to pull the cold James River water towards the lower end.

Lots of factors at play. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Cricket Marina: 49.1

Long Creek Marina: 49.6

State Park Marina: 51.4

Indian Point Marina: 51.0

High and Dry Kimberling City: 51.1

Cape Fair Marina: 46.8

Campbell Point Marina: 48.6 (new location, will continue with this)

Kings River Marina: 47.3

Eagle Rock Marina: 48.1

Also attached are images from the above marinas to try and get you guys an idea of water color. I'm working on some improvements to this, so these will have to do for now.

It would be neat to be able to see the COE ramps, including the courtesy docks.  When the water levels are normal it's not such a big deal, but when the water is high it would be neat to see what ramps are useable.

Thanks Quillback, this is a can-do. I actually thought of that after the fact....figures. Ramp/launch accessibility will be taken into consideration in the future.

Ton of great info Ben. Thanks for posting this. The pix are a cool addition to the water temps too. Great to actually see the waters appearance in the different areas.

It'll be interesting to hear others thoughts on the water temp variations.

I for one appreciate the information and I know many others do as well without expressing it on the forum - so for me and all those other people "Thank You".

Ps.

I really like and use the Cape Fair information!

Do those areas with debris get cleaned up by the COE or does most of it get pulled out by wind etc, and just float down lake? Are private land owners and marinas required to clean up the shorelines? Just curious, the COE works in mysterious ways.
