"Pro staff special " is my most productive color. That's the pack that always seems to be empty first. I hate it when I run out of those.

Swing impact.  The action is pretty unreal. Been swimming the 3inchers on 1/8 to 3/8 ball jigs.  Anyone use small swimbait jig heads?  I'd love to hear suggestions on how to make the most of the swing impact.  Thanks in advance for any info

I love me some Kietech myself.....I fish them slow rolled kinda with some home made horse heads....they work pretty nice...one of the heads is a hybrid composite  head....both are with Owners ...I also like experimenting with bigger blades hahahaha

Thanks for the feedback gentleman.  I've just been using the $1 superglue from Walmart, I'll def switch to the blue locktight as it seems to keep the plastics together longer.  Love the Ned, but these kietechs on 1/8oz heads seem to be the ticket to finicky bass for me

Loctite is the diezel, weasel.

Swimbait fish and Ned fish are two separate groups. Can probably catch some of each on either bait, but there's no reason to force it.

The swing head is essentially the same as a drop shot when reeling them.

I've done well with 2"-3" swimbaits on a drop shot, but you have to shorten the leader to 3-4" so the weight is just below the tail.

a 3way swivel rig might be even better.

SmallieBigs,

Very nice on those underspins. Impressive. You make any of those with say a big ol' 7/0 hook on a 1/2 or 3/4oz head? Looking for something like those to throw a 6.5" LS Bass Magic swimmer on.

Keitech swing impact..... love em....I fish them on a Texas rig. Light wire red worm hook with a 1/8 to 1/4 oz slip sinker with a GLASS bead. I generally fish it pretty slow. Its a deadly tactic...... at least for me.

Why the glass bead? For noise?  Do you use a bobber stop to hold the weight in place?

All of these heads were with a #4 Owner and are 3/8 ounce......I am checking material over here to see, not sure about the mold for the head if we can go that heavy??? I'll PM you and let you know. This set up works at TR for me with the depths and speed I fish them......I have been wanting to go bigger though.

You know what they say....go big or go home. I have made a commitment to myself this year to do just that...upsizing most of my presentations and hopefully sacrifice the quantity of bites for better quality bites. That's the plan anyways....unitl I go 7 hours without a bite and can't take it anymore and whip out the ned, jig or shakeyhead....lol.

Sliding titanium sinker above glass bead.... gives off a nice click. Glass bead gives off a better click than the plastic beads. Weight free to move. They just suck it in usually, kind of like a drop shot bite. I do like that underpin setup though. I'm gonna have to try that out.
