Winter Bass Fishing Training

As I have said in previous post, I recently retired and kinda new to TR.  I've been told that there is a Winter Bass Fishing course to start soon at the Reed Springs Tech. Center(name ?).  Any thoughts on this?  Has anyone taken it?

Never heard of it.  I would look to see who the instructor(s) is, with the right instructor, it could be a great class, especially for someone new to the lake.

Beck says he is a security guard at Reed Springs High School.  Bill said he used to see him sitting at the bait shop and visiting with Mark.  Said he has been around a longtime but Bill did not know anything about his fishing ability.  Just that he liked to fish.

I would think if he is a old timer he probably knows a thing or two, but I have not heard of him either.

FLW profile says he fished 3 of their tournaments in 2010 but none since.

John is a great guy. He is a stone county deputy stationed at Reeds Spring High School as a juvenile officer. I think he was the coach for the Reeds Spring High School bass fishing team. Like Bill said, he's been around long enough to know whats going on.

Timmy, if you know Mr. Rakestraw have him come on here and introduce himself and give some quick cliff notes of his class.  I'm sure it would get folks stirred up and give him a bump in attendance.  We are all just starved this time of the year to talk and learn more about the sport we love.

Bill B., from what I've read on this forum, I'm thinking you don't have anything to learn about bass fishing TR, but rather lots to teach others.
