Saw these in the BPS catalog so when I was at BPS tonight with a couple Christmas gift cards burning a hole in my pocket I thought I'd pick a few up.  Got a Pitbull 5.5 in the Gilly color and a Wild Thang 8.5 in Ghost Green Craw.  These are some pretty nice looking crankbaits and the shape of them is unique in my opinion and something I haven't seen in a crankbait before.  I think the Wild Thang is supposed to be a Wiggle Wart/Rock Crawler competitor as it touts its action as erratic hunting.  The colors on them are very realistic too.  Hopefully the fish think so.

The wild thang sure look to be a well built bait. Not sure it will be a wart replacement, but think it could work quite well. Colors are outstanding, especially the ghost craws.

I like the looks of them. I wanna try the deeper running jerkbait.  And the lip less crank has a unique look.  If any of them work half as well as flicker shad for trolling then I'm in!  I am curious of the difference between the bad shad and the flicker shad.

Looks like the Thang has a bit of a squarebill on it, should provide some good deflection off cover.  I like it that they have some craw colors.

Good video of the underwater action of these baits

Oh good grief  Do you really need yet another series of crankbaits to put better hooks on?  Is the market not already flooded with too many lures that do the same thing?

Well this one SOUNDS DIFFERENT. No wait.....it WANDERS MORE.  And oh hell...the tail does ZERO'S (that's a fresh one).

So now we have to have crankbaits that Wiggle softly, crankbaits that Wiggle harder, crankbaits that Wiggle REAL hard, flat sided crankbaits, crankbaits that wander and crankbaits that don't. And bygod if you don't have crankbaits whose tails do ZERO'S.... in a variety of colors....and change out the hooks on them.... then fuggit....you might as well stay home unless you have at least 2 of each.

This whole crankbait thing has officially gone too far.   Or is it just me?  Will any of us really live long enough to figure out when we need to throw a hard wiggler, softer wiggler, or the one whose tail does zero's?   I know I won't.

Fritts made his way into your brain by throwing a Poes 400 over brushpiles he planted during one particular season many years ago,  but forget about all that.

Thinking you put your candy in front of a hungry fish and game on. Some candy is better though. You know what that is for you. The search for new is fun, but you don't find better than very often.
