Been looking a long time for the automatic fish attractor feature, don't know why the other manufacturers haven't put it into their designs. I have a dozen of each color on order. Yours are most likely on backorder, QB. I ordered two dozen of each color yesterday and pretty much wiped out the in-stock supply. PM for a sweet deal if you need some fast. ness, Quillback and Ranger Z22 3

I'm still waiting on Rock Crawlers to come in at HLS, Champ not only bought out their inventory, but he somehow found out a way to buy out all the backorders. Ranger Z22, Champ188 and mixermarkb 3

There is some truth in that. A good bronze hook can be sharpened, but most won't do it, and it will rust to pieces once you do sharpen it. Champ188 1

I deleted this cuz i didnt want to upset anyone....but ive tried just about every aftermarket treble hook, and i just simply dont have the results with anything else....people say triple grips are the best, but i think they suck! I longline for walleye alot, as well as fish topwaters and jerkbaits all the time. All of these techniques require the best hooks you can get your hands on IMO. Walleye are gentle shakers with bony mouths, so they create alot of slack. Topwaters and jerkbaits are usually siting still when a fish eats it. These situations require hooks grab and not let go, and ive been burned too many times to go any other route. Champ188 and mixermarkb 2
abkeenan Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I think trebles are most important on jerkbaits and topwaters personally. I do replace most of my trebles on cranks but I don't think that they need to be AS sticky as topwaters and jerks. Reason why I say that is typically fish are trying to eat a crank and get it in their mouth MOST of the time. Topwater and jerkbaits A LOT of times the fish just slash at it. If you can get those "slashing" fish stuck you will land a few more fish per outing which can be significant. I catch almost as many jerkabit fish with the hooks pinned to the side of their face and flanks as I do with them actually getting it in their mouth. Gammys, Death Traps and Owners are the only hooks I ever use whether being trebled or single hooks.
mixermarkb Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'd agree with you on most cranks abk, but warts are a little different. I can't tell you how many big bass I've caught on the wart that were just barely hooked on that back treble. I want the sharpest, stickiest thing money can buy back there. I've been really happy with the light wire gama "finesse treble". I think the light wire just sticks easier, and is also easier to bend when you hang a custom painted pre-rap in a big rock or run it into a brush pile. Champ188 and dtrs5kprs 2
