Long creek 1-24-16

Fished from 9-3 in long creek area and had 4 keepers. 2 jerkbait fish, 1 Alabama rig and 1 rockcrawler fish. Water temp was around 46 most of the day. Alabama rig fish was out over 70ft and the rest were up on banks in less that 10ft.

Nice fish. Good to see a Long Creek report thrown up on the boards as it's been awhile. Looks like all largemouths. I like how you are fashioning that fish in the first pic, like a watch or jewelry salesman. I guess they are little gem's though.

Yeah I was hoping to hook into a smallie or two. The LMB didn't put up much of a fight earlier in the day. Later on they fought pretty well. All bass are trophy fish in my mind.
