This is a second-hand report from a friend.  Dont have all the details yet, but, they had a very good day yesterday around Big M.  They had solid fish all day.  His plan was jerkbaits and jigs, have not confirmed if thats what these were on.  Will fill in details later.

Wow, that is a heck of a limit. That lone Kentucky is more than holding his own with those other 5 Largies. Hope they are still swimming and congrats to your friend on figuring them out while bearing some difficult elements.

They are nice fish. Do any of you watch MLF. There is a reason those pros get a penalty when their fish touch the carpet. It take the slim off of they instantly. That could cause the fish to die when released. So my feeling is that it would be better for them to keep these fish so they don't go to waste.

Actually, the best C&R plan would be to not lay them out on the carpet in the first place. Saying you might as well take them home now is like opening every beer in the six-pack and then saying I might as well drink them all now so they don't go to waste. With a little foresight, you'd have some beer --- or bass --- for later.

Geeze people find a reason to gripe about anything.. If you feel for them on it's hard to breath out of water.. Why catch them in the first place.. If you catch them they are out of water. I don't think a pic or the carpet is going to hurt them if it's a short amount time. Hooks do more damage than that... Should we ban hooks?

Man caught a good limit and took a picture.. find something else to complain about.
