Thanks guys for the kind thoughts.  From all that I've heard, getting a knee scoped usually is a pretty quick recovery.  I'll definitely take Champ up on his offer, even if I'm completely recovered.  Heck, even if I can't fish, I'd go with him to see how he fishes that Crawler.

All occupants of my boat are scanned for possession of audio/video recording devices and GPS units. That includes Donna.

You guys are killing me with these reports, I have to get my knee worked on Monday, so it may be a bit before I can get out again.  But, it sure looks like the fish have turned on.

Having had both my knees replaced with space age materials, I understand what you're going thru.  Do the PT and you be back on the front deck in no time !!

Good Job Bo.  Everyone looks like they were no them this weekend.  They are saying its going to get plumb nasty.  Shame.    Quill get that knee fixed and get back in the game.  Are you going to have it scoped or what?  I got two of the worst ones in the world.  will probably get them both replaced in October when my season winds down.  That should put me back in go mode by Spring of 17.  Good Luck

bill, good luck with doing them both at the same time.  for some, they breeze through it.  you just have to tough out the pain of rehab for the best results.  a stationary bike is a big help in getting range of motion back and in getting swelling out.  i have only had one replaced so far, but the other knee will have to be at some point.  i know you will feel better on down the road and will be able to get around much better.  i have been where you are and know what you are dealing with.  i will definitely keep you in my prayers for the best outcome when you have your surgery.

Getting the right one scoped this time, surgeon says it will maybe get me 2 years, but at that point I may need a replacement.  I also must lose weight, so I have been dieting the last few weeks.

Man if both of your knees need replacing, that has got to be some real pain you are dealing with, everybody I've talked with that has had that replacement deal, has always said they are glad they did it.

If you're needing both knees replaced, I would definitely consider doing them together. I work in physical therapy, and have had countless patients tell me that their "new knee" is now their good side, before completing therapy. I've had many others who never got around to doing the second one, and the pain keeps them from walking altogether later in life.
