neat, but too rich for my blood . Can make them for less. I use them on lipless cranks and topwater prop plugs

swivel shaft wire

It is entirely possible that a custom wake bait with a rear blade lives in my waker box. Colorado blade, and not attached to the hook though. Seems to help keep the bait on top.

Putting that on the back of a jigging spoon will set you up with a little george type lure.  I dont know that anyone nowadays uses them (I have a few very old ones), but ill tell ya that they are super effective on table rock white bass, and you can cast it further than just about any other spinner type lure.  I like to have 1 of those handy just in case i see some schooling bass that i cant reach with a nungesser.  That said...the beauty of the jigging spoon is that it can be fished as subtle or aggressive as you want and its more versatile without the spinner IMO.  Some days spinners just dont work, but most days slab spoons do.

I'm with Ham on the jigging spoon, or replacing the treble on something like this and making your own underspin?

It's the paint. Some bait companies have figured out how to shoot them and seal them without that chemical smell.
