I am not sure if you had a chance to get to the weigh in but when I was there all of the fish looked great - very healthy and fat! A quick weigh and a picture then right in the release tank! 

m&m you are right - timing is key.....we are almost a month earlier compared to last year.

Kudos to everyone who made the 2 day derby successful and to all the fisherman who participated. TR is a great place to spend a couple of days chunking lures for sure.  I am gonna try Cow Creek next weekend. I've never fished it but I'm trying to learn different large creeks this year.
