Haris122 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 How long did that take to bring in on the ultralight?
Mitch f Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 My guess is a lot of big largemouth got moved into the river system from farm ponds and Simpson lake when it flooded. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Smallieguy87 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Wow! Thats a hoss of a largemouth! Great report man. I've caught a few decent Largemouth but none like that.

That's what I was thinking. There are quite a few golf ponds in Aberdeen golf course and a few mine ponds near Rt 66 State park that most likely got flooded when the river came up and I'm sure those held some decent fish that got into the river. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Jerry Rapp Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 or maybe that size class fish has been in the river all along. and more folks are fishing the lower river and finding out its' potential? Flysmallie, evilcatfish, bfishn and 1 other 4
