Got started around 7:00 ish , fished til 3:00. Bite was slow in the AM , but really picked up around noon. Ended up with around 25 total with 9 keeps. Had a solid limit today and the fish are just about to explode with eggs. Had a 17" brownie to throw in the mix and two better than sixteen inch  Kentuckies. Most on spinnerbaits and cranks.  Flat gravel in about 5-7 foot.  Would have posted more pics but no time to fool around with the wind howling like it was.

Very good day. Bite certainly picked up for me also in the afternoon but TM batteries were giving out. Ended up quitting around 2:30 and going to get new ones. Had 7 with 4 solid keepers. I flat missed the gravel bite.

I wouldn't worry about that crank bait showing. Not many people have them or can get them anymore. If I'm not mistaken, the red eyes mean that one is really old.

Littlejasper, thanks for the report. I'm thinking the afternoon might be a bit better also. Sounds like the reports agree. Nice pictures.
