Ham Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Blues were dominating in the early part of that game, but failed to bury the puck on some quality scoring chances. I was proud of the Blues for picking themselves up and evening up the score, but their 3 rd period fore check and puck control was awful. Their goalie really kept them in the game. This loss is in spite of his best efforts. I hope for a better outcome next game. marcus 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Ham Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Blue's win! That's more like it. Of course, I did not get to see any of it, but still. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
moguy1973 Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 One more and it's on to the Conference finals for the first time since 2001!!!!! I missed the whole thing also since my daughter was having her 4 year old birthday today at Chuck E Cheese. I can't believe that place didn't have at least one TV on for the hockey game... marcus 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
stlfisher Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I was at a birthday party as well at a rec center, but managed to find a TV for a bit. Big win for the Blues...I think they get it done Monday. marcus 1
moguy1973 Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 They are going to do it tonight. I can feel it. Going to go to the WCF for the first time since 2001. Been a long time coming... moguy1973 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 darn...Couldn't play the first 5 minutes and it cost them. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
joeD Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I'm afraid we just gave their goalie confidence. I think it's inexcusable in a second round, possible series ending home game, that the Blues came out so uninspired and devoid of passion, absolutely letting the Stars dictate the action with no response. Once again, the Blues fail to accept prosperity. Great, another nail biter coming up. What are the odds winning again at Dallas? Okay, here's a lame and doubtful Lets Go Blues. No exclamation mark.
moguy1973 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I think they know what they need to do and know how to do it. They just need to do it for 60 minutes. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
joeD Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Then why the f*** didn't they do it tonight? Explain why they seemed to be surprised by the first period Dallas energy and onslaught. Smalliebigs 1
