Just Googled and Red Breast 21 is £154 a bottle.

Ness - that's approx. $200. I may consider it when my kids are on their own and the house is paid off and I'm working as a greeter at Bass Pro shops.

I have had Redbreast 12 that someone else purchased (only $55 per bottle) and enjoyed it very much. I can imagine that the 21 year old stuff is much better.

Gives a good run down on the genre.

As for coming to my place and drinking my stuff - well you see, I have a cabinet I let guests sample. I keep the Penfolds Grandfather Port and Red Breast I get as Christmas gifts from my brother-in-law somewhere else.

so as a fella looking to getting into sipping a good whiskey what do you all suggest? I don't usually partake in it but lately have wanted to give some a try.

Bulleit

Knob Creek

Four Roses

I also like Missouri Spirits Bourbon a lot. And they are just around the corner from my office.

That's 2 for Knob Creek. I've been eyeing Knob Creek for awhile now so I may have to grab a bottle this weekend. How's Makers Mark?

Good. I really like their Maker's 46.

Not sure where you buy it as far as you know but I really like that stuff in the plain mason jar.
