We just got back from our 2 weeks on TR. As always we had a absolute fantastic time!!!

I don't have much of a report as we pretty much caught our fish doing one thing and that was fishing the Ned.  Mostly fished the Kimberling area. Had some 40-60 fish days and some 15 fish days; our not so good days were when we ventured away from the Kimberling area. With the exception of a couple secondary points back in coves; all our fish came off main lake gravel points in 4-15ft of water. We did catch a few on the Keitech swimbait in silver flash minnow color. The Ned fish were mostly on green pumpkin/orange and canada craw colors. Most fish were smallies with a few spots and largemouts mixed in. No real big fish but did have a few smallies that were in the 3lb+ range.

We also did have the pleasure of meeting up with Donna and James again this year for a little while as well. It is always great to visit with them!!

As always we can't wait to be able to get back down again!!!

Thanks Dave! I also just sent you a PM about getting some more jigs.  Wished our trips would have overlapped again this year. I think we are going to come the last week of April and first week of May next year. If our trips overlap next year we will have to all get together again!

Sounds like you all had a great trip Hunter, and caught a lot of fish also, 2 weeks is just what one needs to keep his marbles in order. That ole Champ and his wife sure get around and are great to get together with. One of these days I am going to have to start fishing with that ned, you all sure do some damage with that little critter!!

Just a warning on using the Ned; once you start it is hard to keep from using it all the time. You will find that if you start out with something else and it doesn't produce RIGHT away you will put it down and grab the ned. LOL    Or if you start out with the ned you just as well put all the other rods away as you will end up just using it and nothing else. LOL

Hunter53, once again it was a pleasure and a privilege to meet up with you and Michele. Of course, Danna's never disappoints when it comes to good vittles.

Already looking forward to seeing you guys next year. We'll guard your favorite fishin' hole for ya and won't beat 'em up too bad. Promise. Mean it. :D

I won't. I'm going to poke #2 holes in all of them that will submit to the experience, then send you pics.

A lot of them looked like pin cushions. I can only hope they at least heal up some before you get down there again.  LOL
