Looks like Don Iovino's Crankbait has arrived. Things have changed quite a bit from when we all thought he bought the original Wiggle Wart mold.

The old school colors are sweet. The depth is a little disappointing. Nothing wrong with another tool though. 

 

Anyone nes else finding humor in all the stories of so and so buying the original molds? It's turning into the catfish the size of volkswagens by the dam story.

If anyone besides Rapala had them, it would be Brad's , or maybe the Ka-Boom people. They only make the thunderstick though.

I wouldn't be surprised if you had them and just forgot due to them being covered by your bait hoard the basement/garage.

Yeah I am a bit disappointed in the lack of depth, maybe they'll come out with a deeper runner.  Like the colors.

Can't see them replacing anything I already throw. Depth and colors seem pretty unremarkable to me. JMO.

They kinda remind me of the Luhr Jensen Speed Trap with a slightly longer bill.

Not quite what I had expected profile wise, but I'm sure it catches fish.

i have found them to catch bass, and that is the important part.  but, there are times, as always, that one crank bait will out fish anything else on any given day.  for me personally, i have caught way more spring time bass on a model a bomber than a wiggle wart here on table rock.  on bull shoals, the old rebel deep wee r was darn hard to beat.  on loz, i have done consistently better on the wart.  i can remember one year a rapala rap crankbait was the hot ticket.  guess we just all need to go to live bait, and then we would only need shad or crawdads.
