What color and size do you think is best particularly for the Dixie Jet for vertical fishing?

Thanks

3/4 oz. Works good for me, chrome when sunny, gold & white for overcast. The Dixie is good, but a slab spoon works better for deep vertical fishing. Pure speculation on my part. I will cast and let the jet sink or use in 20'-25'. Any deeper for vertical war eagle, Shorty's, Hopkins, ect. Slab style spoons in 1/2 or 3/4 oz.

bobby b, the Dixie is a flutter spoon.  I use it around docks or when I see bass busting shad in a school on top of the water.  You have to keep it handy because those schools are up and then gone very quickly.  I pitch it into a boat slip or around a dock and let it flutter down slowly to trigger a strike.

The traditional Dixie Jet was a Flutter Spoon, but Tom Murphy the current owner has expanded the line and has been making a Jigging Spoon in a multitude of colors including pink, under the Dixie Jet flag for about 10 yrs. now.  You can see the entire line at Sportsmans Outfitters in Springfield.

HLS carries the Dixie Jet flutter spoons but I don't believe they have the slabs.

Don't know that you can beat the War Eagle slabs or the Cabalas Real Image for that matter.

Not since the old Hazie Dazie spoons are gone.

I still have one. Found it on a dock cable....imagine that.
