Got out early today, there was an early bite on a gravel point, got a few top water fish there, including the double keeper smallie on a Binksy (what a stupid name for a lure).  Top fish was about 18", bottom fish was a ;little over 16.  Bottom fish was pretty beat up, skinny, and you can see where he has some hook damage on the corner of his mouth from being caught before.  I got tow doubles this morning, the other one was 2 short largemouth.

After the gravel bite quit, did some milk run stops on rocky main channel points and threw a 3.8 Keitech on a 3/8 oz head.  I fished it deep, slow rolling it, and pausing periodically to let it fall.  They'll hit it on the fall quite a bit.  Got mostly 13-16" spots doing that, caught a good number of them before they stopped about 11 AM.  They were all deep, suspended 20-40 feet down over or around deep trees off those rocky points.

Water temp was 87 when I left.

From what has been reported today and there was a total plethora of guide trips from BC to Baxter you were the winner by far.  I'm coming up to help you in the morning.  I bet there will be a lot of help the rest of the week with the BLF League in town.

I'll sell you the waypoints of Quillback's best fishing spots for $150.00 each, guaranteed to be accurate within +/- five miles  ;)

For some, getting within five miles of fish would be well worth $150. For others, it still wouldn't help ;).

I saw several boats with today with Power Poles, I was wondering if there was something going on.

Yep, people like me.....if it wasn't for Quillback and this forum I would still be going in circles trying to figure this lake out

They need to mount dual window A/C's instead of the poles, or maybe set fans up on top of them.

Hopefully they saved some money for ice and Rejuvenade for their livewells. Otherwise, they'll kill a bunch of keeper bass. And with reports of another oxygen-related fish kill already starting just a few days into official summer, we sure as heck don't need fish dying needlessly because a tournament organization decides to make their annual stop at Table Rock six weeks later than usual.

100%. Way too hot to be boxing fish and dragging them through wakes.

It looked like the high school derby lost quite a few last weekend, unless I read the numbers incorrectly.
