96 CHAMP Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I have been using the Baby D Bomb in Green Pumpkin purple in the spring with a wobble head. And for me, it has been probably the best bait I have used, smallmouth, largemouth, and kentucks, all just destroyed it, and might I add, some very respectable fish!! I imagine the bigger profile, D Bomb would be a great pitchin bait & casting bait as well, was hoping to get down to do some night fishing but have been delayed do to upcoming arm surgery. As far as what abkeenan quoted as being soft, yes they are, When running low I would take some Gel super glue and do a repair job and end up getting a few more. Kind of like putting a plug in a tire to get you home! LOL Good luck and post some pics!! HardHead and abkeenan 2

Bill Babler Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Just got a glimpse of the D-bomb today and that bait looks like the BOMB not to mention they cost only $3.50 a bag. That might be my new deal. 96 CHAMP 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

That might be my new deal. Just save a Yammy or Reaction Innovations bag and put the cheapos in it. Then when you pull it out and hand one to a client, they'll think they're fishing with the good stuff.

That might be my new deal. You will like them. Like I said they are super soft and I especially like how collapsible they are with the ribbing which makes for a good hookup percentage. Also very easy to skin hook perfectly with the ribbing design as well. Has a bulky profile look but not a lot of plastic for the hook to fight though. Big fan of them what can I say. They also sell in 25 count packs (in select colors) which make them even cheaper and you don't need to haul a whole bunch of packages around. Lots of guys run the menace grub and other stuff when the wobble head bite is going. I run the D-Bomb pretty much exclusively.
