Flysmallie Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Well I bought a kayak. I listened to all the recommendations and chose the one everyone said to stay away from. But the best boat is the one that gets you on the water. Took it out to Springfield Lake this morning and put a little fish stink on it. so far so good. MObassin95, Johnsfolly, Ham and 6 others 9

moguy1973 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Other than being a little heavy they are nice kayaks for the price. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Yep they are a little heavy but not much than the other fishing kayaks I was looking at. And it's no heavier than my battleship canoe and fits on my car a lot better.
fishinwrench Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Somebody is always concerned about an extra 15-20 pounds in a paddlecraft. If that much extra weight truly bothers you then you aren't doing enough paddling. Or anything else physical, for that matter. Smalliebigs, crappie_adams83 and Daryk Campbell Sr 3
