Hmm, I just usally end up smelling like I have been fishing.  If I didn't my wife wouldnt believe I was fishing.

oh that was early in the float, I was smelling pretty fishy by the end of the day. I think the carp was the 12 th fish of the day and I finished with 111.

If you come home smelling of cow poop when you went "fishing", what does wife think then?

As long as I come home smelling of something aside from perfume or April fresh she would be fine.  She knows me well enough to know there is no telling what I might end up doing.  Smelong like cow pies, fish, catfish bait, stinky mud, diesel fuel or just my normal stinky self doesn't raise any warning flags.  April fresh or smelling nice, there would be some splaining  to do.

I'm gonna guess that really fine glitter on your hands and face my lead to trouble as well. Keep on fishing smelly man. That's what they make soap for.

Ham, I am gonna tell you the same thing I told my wife, the glitter was in the crappie nibbles, or maybe it rubbed off of a friend's bass boat as we fished.  However nothing like a quick bath in creek where the spring branch runs into wake you up.  I keep a bar of felt naphtha sad in my creek gear, mostly to wash away poison ivy but it does improve the odor in camp on multi day floats.

Somehow, this thread title had me thinking in another direction.;)

I've been waiting to see who would be the first to go there.
