Daryk Campbell Sr Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Had a good evening at the creek fishing with the kids. Thank you Dave, the Ned made the day. ness, Greasy B, ollie and 4 others 7 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Johnsfolly Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Daryk Congrats on taking out the kids. There's a connection a kid makes when they catch a fish. Hopefully you'll get them hooked for life. Were all the fish on Ned rigs? Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted August 1, 2016 Author Posted August 1, 2016 I caught a 16 inch spotted bass on a spook. The fish my son caught were on the Ned. He had a few more that he did not set the hook on. He seen them, so they "counted". He beat me 5 to 2. I also caught a tiny green sunfish. I found a good hole last week, and couldn't wait to take them there. We brought along a minnow trap, and used bread. We caught a tiny craw dad, and the minnow my daughter is holding. I didn't get a great picture of it though. She just did not have the patience even with the Ned. She was content finding "seashells", clam shells really. I did have an incident where a small garden was toying with my spook, then while trying to play him, I got snagged on a small stick. Broke the line at the knot. I was able to snag it with a spinner bait. I was relieved. That bait has really been good to me.
