If you were to take the money you'll spend on entry, fuel, lodging, wear&tear on your boat/motor, ect.  and invest it in scratcher tickets (less the amount for a weekend of fun fishing at your home lake on a date of your own choice) I bet you'll come out ahead on the scratchers.

You're probably right, but fishing for a big pay check is a lot more fun.

I'm not fishing it.  Usually I keep the shop open and make bank keeping everyone else's stuff running well.

My daughter is summoning me to drive to KC to play softball and go to a Royals game that weekend, but I hope to get out of that.

I would fish if I had access to a bass boat, or access to fish as a co angler. A 14' jon won't cut it on LOZ.

Why prefish? It really doesn't take a pattern. How do you pattern one big bite and account for 3000 people fishing with you. Lol.
