Champ188 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I've said this before but the problem starts where money enters the picture. I presume your club is fishing for fairly low stakes ... trophies, points toward year-end awards, etc. Once people start paying normal entry fees, they want to see living (or not) proof of everyone's catch. That's the mentality that's killing our fish and will continue to do so until said mentality is changed, which doesn't seem likely to me. dtrs5kprs, jim m, GNSfishing and 2 others 5

DADAKOTA Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Tourneys during hot months should be limited to 3-4 hours Max. The number of fish that can be in the live well should be dropped to 4. Dead fish should mean immediate DQ. IF the tourney leaves a bunch of dead fish floating around ALL their regatta permits for the remainder of the year should be cancelled. You will see much better fish care when folks realize they could be DQ'd and their derby series could be cancelled. Any dead fish they do have would be taken care of properly and not left as an eyesore. vernon, LD Fisher, GNSfishing and 5 others 8
