It has been raining all morning here in the dam area - putting a damper on my mojo in wanting to get out and fish! Now I have to decide where to go after it stops....I really want to try out my NEW double whopper plopped....they box says I will be really pleased by all of the fish I will catch or none of my money back!!....BTW if you are launching out of State Park today be aware there is some kind of event going on from 10-6

It looks like it will be a mad house around here!!

I've had a good full dose of rain lately. We just dodged it at practice last night, high school game was called in the 1st qtr for lightning.

Fortunately we were up 46-0. Didn't need any more of that.

If it's a cool rain could pull them shallow and to runoff locations. Squarebill or spinnerbait could be fun. That double plopper or standard plopper could also be in play.

I could have gone fishing in my basement Friday morning, woke up with close to 1 -1/2" of rain under my feet.

Indeed. Apparently we had our 3 deeps in and it was still brutal.
