(I'll be here all week, folks.) But he may not be here. Better keep that new PFD on while you're fishing this weekend, darling. I didn't say I wouldn't go fishing with the man, but I'll come off that back deck at you like a spider monkey and put you in the water. There might even be a scissor kick involved if I get a running start. jim m, 176champion, MGP and 2 others 5 Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915

That's Steven (Lurch) Scott during a Women's Bassmaster Event a few years back on Lake Dardanelle. Yep. He did all our WBT weigh-ins and now he's on MLF with Marty Stone and Sheli Sanders. Gosh. Never made the connection. And I fished with Wallace for a week in the BASS central division tournament on Eufaula. Champ188 1 Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. Donna G Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 Here's another picture of Connie Jenkins wearing her frogs (F.R.O.G. - Fully Rely on God). I can't leave Champ188 out of any of the categories - fishing friends, family and idols. I was already "a dynamite kisser and great bass fisher" when he caught me, but he has taught me so much and gets a bigger kick out of me catching a good one than doing it himself. Naturally he's family, too, and my best friend and fishing buddy. Oh, and pretty awesome. And a front-ender, particularly with a blade. Sprint21fter Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 My first big memory of BASS was when I was 9 years old it was 1996 and my dad took me to the weigh in and wouldn't you know it Ray Scott asked for volunteers to help shuttle the fish back to the release boats. Then they used a rubber maid laundry hamper. Biffle caught a 9lb 15oz toad for big fish. I remember that fish was as long as the hamper. Unfortunately, Charlie Campbell fell in his boat breaking a couple of ribs and finished 2nd to Gary Klein that year. Champ188 1
