Many moons ago, when choices were few, I bought a sampler pack of European beers that included this one:

It was in a tan and brown-labeled bottle then. It’s the one that steered me down the malt path in beers. Now it’s canned with a nitro widget. It’s a thick, creamy, malty beer with very light hops. Pretty good but my tastes have changed somewhat and I wouldn’t rate this as highly now.

I am sure liking these Marlborough (NZ) Sauvignon Blancs. I mentioned Crossings beating Kim Crawford a while back. Drylands beats Crossings.

And...not really a fan of flavored vodkas, but did try an espresso vodka from Breckenridge a while back and liked it. Can’t get it in KC so I tried this one from our local coffee company. This is very good. Keep it in the fridge and drink it with just a splash of cream. Dang.

Interesting. I like Sav. Blanc allot but consider it a summer wine. Will be picking up some Gewurztraminer later to pair with my turkey.

Well, it hit 63 today and I couldn’t help thinking too bad Gavin couldn’t enjoy this wine in a climate like this😄

It’s just good. Don’t really care about the calendar or the temperature.

Very important taste test tonight.

It was done blind, but the color difference was a clue. Kerrygold is thicker and more chocolatey. Bailey’s is still really good and has a little more whisky bite. It’s the sentimental favorite but Kerrygold wins.
