At least 2 guys are having some good practice days. After a late call yesterday, I worked all day and got a package out to one, got another call this afternoon and will get that package out as early as possible for fedex.  Probably wouldn't be right, pre-tournament, to say what they are excited about.

We are working on the website but, for now, all the money is going to St Jude Children's Hospital.  They treat very sick kids and never ask the parents to pay.  We will add several other charity choices as the site comes up.

The email is working now.  whiteriverlures@gmail.com

We plan to fish after those guys, and the weekend, are gone.

The lake fishing tough is an understatement. I'm gonna say 36 pounds will take it. Yes someone will find fish, but to do it in these conditions for 3 consecutive days will be doubtful in my eyes.  Final answer, 36

The tournament is Thursday-Saturday. No mention of rain any of those days by the NWS or The Weather Channel. Front blows thru Wednesday night, then mostly sunny skies and light winds the next 3 days.

May be about as tough as it gets. Finesse jig and spoon on docks could be strong.

Gonna be 200 boats (one pro, one co-angler in each boat) the first two days. The field is cut to 10 boats for Saturday's final round.

I'll say 40 pounds.

i agree that without the presence of wind, it could be as difficult as it gets.  especially since what shad schools that had gathered up have all seemed to have scattered with the summer like temps.

I recall fishing a Central Pro-Am championship on Greers Ferry in November quite a few years back when conditions were just like what is predicted this week. Good heavens, was it tough. I managed a check with less than a limit each day.

The guy who won was a good friend and later admitted he was fishing down a bluff with a jig late on the first day when his back-seater heard a fish break on the other side of the boat over 80 feet of water. Long story short, both of them limited out on small spots out of the schoolers. My buddy returned there the next day and caught another limit of 12-inch spots, then added one decent largemouth later in the day to win the two-day Classic and a brand new Skeeter/Yamaha boat rig with less than 15 pounds for the two days.

Table Rock is a healthier fishery than Greers Ferry, but high blue skies and light winds are no picnic on any body of water.

I love the optimism Hammer!  Thats what scares me about our lake with as many 4-5 lbers living in the lake you can bust em off of one CEADAR tree in 10 minutes.  OOOPS spilled the beans on that hidden secret.  :P

From what I have experienced over the last 2 months, I am going to say it will take 34 lbs. to win and 17 lbs. to fish the last day.  Just my guess.  I looked at the forecast, winds of 5-8 for 3 days.  Not exactly favorable.

Don't forget, there were 200 teams here last week for the Toyota team deal and it only took 14 pounds to win. Very tough right now.
