bluebasser86 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I guess going to the backs of major creek arms and fishing under the hundreds of diving seagulls to find whites in the fall is a big secret at LOZ? Besides, they weren't even big ones. Most of the ones we caught wouldn't have been big if they were crappies. I doubt we had one that would have measured 14". Super fat from gorging on all the 2-3 inch long shad they had corralled back there.
fishinwrench Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Well the gulls are usually not there flagging their position.

Old plug Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 l passed thru Gravois Mills a few hours ago Gulls are one thing but there must have been close to 100 pelicans up there. Looks like the flock is getting bigger than the last time I went thru last Monday.

fishinwrench Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 My wife and I were wondering if they just pitstop here for a day or so then head further south, or if the same ones we see today are the same ones we will see in a week. One day they are thick, then the next day they will be gone. Then the following day there might be 8-10..... Then gone again. Not sure if they just hop around this lake or if new flights of them are constantly arriving from the North.
