Got to the lake mid-day today, and got out for a few hours this afternoon.  Wind was blowing a little hard for my liking, but got on some banks that were blown and caught 3 fish.  All LM, in less than 5 feet of water on prototypical crankbait banks.  Best is pictured below, 4.5lbs, 21" long.  Best fish I've had on this lake in a while.  Other two were about 3lbs and 2lbs.  Missouri Craw wart (post-rap) did all the damage.  Wish I'd gotten on the water earlier......

Should get out all day tomorrow, and hopefully the wind hangs around, but dies down a little.  Was hard to hold the boat this afternoon.

General area? Mid,River or lower?

Thumbs, did you read the title of my report? :P  I never strayed much beyond site of the 13 bridge.

By the way, got to try my Cabela's Arachnid baitcaster today.  I'm in love.  Thanks abkeenan for bringing that one to light.  Throws the Wart further than I've ever been able to with my Lew's or Shimanos.  Might even buy another one while they are on sale for $110.
